Amidst National elections, price hike, economic downfall and lay-offs, Filipinos really love receiving things for free. During our Bangon Kabataan sorties, people will always look at us as if we have a multi-billion traditional political machinery that can provide everything they need in exchange for an oval-shaded ballot. As Jesica Soho enumerated, these vary from free baller ids, t-shirt, lanyards, nuts, caps, stickers, toilet bowl and underwear.

I have been reading a lot of tips on blogging over the net a while ago and most of them are for domain-hosted sites. That excludes akosiniko.wordpress.com which uses a free blogging platform. The more tabs I open, the more I say “I should move on and leave wordpress.com na. Sana matagal na akong bumili ng domain host and name”.
Just like a blogger, we all come to a point where we realize that the free things we used to have are supposed to be replaced by something better. The joy-meter of having it free suddenly decreases. Enthusiasm is reduced and focus starts to redirect.
Why appreciate small things? Simple. In philosophy and reality, those small things are big things for those who don’t have it. As a candidate selects only the vote-rich regions out of the 7, 107 islands of the Philippines, receiving free things aren’t like crimes that you hear over the news daily.
Learn to appreciate every small thing you receive.
