How to share on FB, and Re-tweet button for Wordpress.com

Having 1,000 views per day is enough reason for a WordPress.com blogger to click the “New Post” button.  Everyone likes making their post seen by as many people as possible. So, tapping on Social Media is one easy way to boost traffic, swift dissemination, better rankings and extended reach from viewers.Share on Facebook button is one sure way to do it.

Have you been jealous with these buttons?  I did. Unluckily, our open source software wordpress.com cannot read java scripts.  Thus, we cannot use those tools for our blog. That’s a L on a forehead for us. (L for Loser and not “Laban”.) But we still have to appreciate the free things, right?

Here is a step by step guide for beginners.

1. Download an image of a retweet or Share on facebook buttons over the internet

2.Upload the photo and set the to ‘link’ to the Alternate RE-DIRECT LINKS.

3. Check the ‘Open Link in New window’ Checkbox  under ‘Advanced Settings’, and click ‘Update’.

4. Adjust desired image size, and ‘Insert’ it above or below you post.

Tips:

• You can even personalize your  160×40 button as long as you link to the right Alternate RE-DIRECT LINKS..
• You can use  link shortener for the twitter Alternate RE-DIRECT LINKS to maximize that 140 characters.
• If you find it very time-consuming, using other blog Plaforms or buying a domain name is always an option.

Voila! You are now one of the elite wordpress.com users who have Share on Facebook and retweet button.
